Looking for affordable housing in Washington State?

AptFinder.org is a non-profit organization that advertises subsidized and rent-restricted affordable apartment communities throughout Washington State. Not all properties advertised on our site are subsidized, but all offer affordable rents to low income individuals and families.

We are not a direct housing locator service. We are an advertising company for affordable housing providers. Properties are voluntarily listed on our site by owners, managers and agencies dedicated to providing affordable housing opportunities for low-income individuals, families, seniors or disabled persons. We show listings from a variety of government funded sources where eligibility, income restrictions and rent restrictions keep the housing affordable to households below 80% of the area median income. Project-Based Subsidy	Search fully or partially project-based subsidized properties where I can pay 30% of my income for rent *Read each property listing carefully for number of subsidized units. Some properties may only offer project-based subsidy on a portion of the units at their property. In many cases the non-subsidized units will also take Housing Authority provided Housing Choice Section 8 vouchers. Please call the main contact on each property listing for details.
Tenant-Based Subsidy	Search properties that accept Housing Choice tenant-based vouchers *Vouchers must be obtained through a particpating Public Housing Authority to be eligible for a subsidized rent in the non-subsidized units at these properties. Please contact your local Public Housing Authority or the property contact for more information.
Non-Subsidized Properties	Search non-subsidized income and rent-restricted properties with units less than per month. *You may be able to use a Housing Authority-provided Section 8 voucher (tenant-based voucher) at these non-subsidized properties.
