The Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA) has five Affordable Housing buildings located directly within the Pike Place Market. The LaSalle is located at the heart of the Market; just steps from the world famous fish guys, Rachael the pig and the ever dependable Pike Place Market clock. The LaSalle offers easy access to all major bus lines, the many Market businesses and services; Downtown Foodbank, Pike Market Medical Clinic, and is recently home to the newly located Pike Market Senior Center.
The LaSalle at Pike Place Market is recently renovated; the 32 newly constructed units join the 32 existing units. This property is partially subsidized through HUD Project-based Section 8 program for seniors 55 or older or disabled persons regardless of age. We offer 40 subsidized units out of a total of 64 studio and one bedroom apartments. If subsidy is available, you will only pay 30% of your income for rent.
